Last times...

With last night's game winding down scoreless I put together a bunch of shutout notes and sent it off to Pittburgh.

I don't think any of them made air before the Penguin goal so you can't blame Howie  (you can always blame me :)

<<
Isles had 2 consecutive shutouts:  Dec 23/26, 2006 vs Columbus and New York  (both by DiPietro)
Isles had consecutive shutouts by someone other than Dipietro: October 14/17, 1998 at Tampa and St. Louis (both by Salo)

Isles shutout Pens  Jan 9, 1986 (9-0 for Hrudey)
Isles shutout Pens in Pittsburgh  Feb 2 1985 (4-0 for Hrudey)
Any coach other than Arbour shutout Pens:  NEVER

Last 1-0 win : Feb 21 2008 vs Tampa
Last 1-0 OT win: Dec 31 2002 in Buffalo (Blake)
Last 0-0 tie thru 65 minutes: Feb 24 2004 vs Boston  (last of 6 scoreless ties in Isles history)

Last 1-0 loss: Feb 7 2009 in Tampa  (now 2/25/09 at Pittsburgh)
ONLY 1-0 OT loss: Dec 10 2003 in New Jersey
Isles have never played a scoreless game that was then decided in shootout.  (If they do, both goales get credit for shutout)
