More on Ricky's short night

DiPietro was credited with the win last night. It's the fourth time since 1987
that an Islander goalie has been credited with a win despite playing less than
half of the game:

11/1/87 Smith replaces Hrudey for final 19 minutes; Isles rally for 6-5 OT win
over Boston
1/4/2006 Dubielewicz replaces an injured Garth Snow in final seconds of
regulation; Isles win in overtime

11/3/2007 Dubielewicz replaces an injured Rick DiPietro in the second period of
Al Arbour's 1500th game. Isles rally to beat Pittsburgh.

No starting Isles goalie had accomplished what Ricky unintentionally managed to
do last night (start, play less than half of the game and win) since at least
1987.
