More Tavares Numbers (at least 2 goals, 4 points) x 2

With thanks to Elias:

<<From Elias: John Tavares put three goals and one assist on the scoresheet for the Islanders in their 4-2 win over the Rangers on Saturday, after registering two goals and two assists in the Isles' 5-1 win against the Lightning on Thursday. Tavares is the fifth player in Islanders history to record at least two goals and four points in each of two consecutive team games. The other Islanders to do that were Denis Potvin (January 1976), Mike Bossy, who did it twice (January 1981 and March 1982), Clark Gillies (February 1982) and Zigmund Palffy (March 1996).>>

From my research:
Potvin did it 1/21 - 1/22/76 (@Washington, Detroit)

Bossy did it 1/13 - 1/17/81 (4 goals vs Pitt, 3 goals & 1 assist vs Wash) in game 46 and 47 of his 50 in 50 chase.  (Goals 42-48)
and again    3/4 - 3/6/82   (3 goals, 1 assist vs Tor and 2 goals/2 assists vs NYR)

Gillies did it 2/14- 2/16/82 (games 12 and 13 of 15 game win streak -- vs Hartford and Pittsburgh)

Palffy, the last to do it, did so on March 3rd and 5th, 1996.  He recorded three goals and one assist in each game, with Winnipeg and Boston providing the opposition.  The game against Winnipeg was the final home game ever against the Jets... at least until this November 3rd.
