Moulson (and Boyes)

Matt Moulson enters tonight with a 6-game assist streak, matching a streak he had last season as well.

The last Islander to have a seven game assist streak is Robert Reichel, who did so in the first seven games of the 1997-98 season (10/3-10/19/97).

The club record is 9, last done by Tom Kurvers in 1991-92.

(Only Sergei Gonchar - who recorded an assist in a 9th straight game last night, has had a longer streak this season.  Moulson and Boyes are two of a handful of players with current six-game POINT streaks; Gonchar (9) is the only player with a longer active point streak.)
