History at the Coliseum last night

... but for the LA Kings.

According to the Elias geniuses, it is the first time in Kings history that they have EVER won a road game in regulation time in which they were being shutout by at least a 2-0 score thru 40 minutes.

It had happened twice before in Los Angeles (in 1970 vs. Minnesota and in 1998 vs. Calgary).
