Rome not the first to be suspended in Stanley Cup Final

Aaron Rome was suspended four games for his hit on Nathan Horton.  So basically Rome misses the rest of the playoffs for taking Horton, one of Boston's leading scorers, out for the rest of the playoffs.

It's the first suspension in the Stanley Cup finals since 2007 and the longest in Finals history.

One of the NBC/Versus guys was also suspended during the finals -- back in 1977 a Bruin defensemen was sat down for a game after drawing two game misconducts in the playoffs.  His name, of course, was Mike Milbury.

Milbury could be excused, in part.  Both game misconducts were issued by Ron Wicks.
