Richard Panik broke a 4-4 tie with 6:13 to play as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Isles 5-4 before a crowd of 12,504 at Barclays Center.
The Isles had taken a 2-0 lead just 3:48 into play; it was the earliest 2 goals the Isles had ever scored at Barclays; by period's end the six goals (three for each team) had produced the highest scoring first period in the venue.

The Isles will face Kyle Okposo for the first time as they head to Buffalo to face the Sabres on Friday. The Isles are 4-0-2 in their last six trips to Buffalo, although three of the six games have been decided in shootouts.
It's the first of three meetings this season with the Sabres, who will visit Barclays on December 23rd.
