The Skinny
The Isles are 14-8-2 in their last 24 games … Noah Dobson leads the Isles with 17 power play assists and 19 power play points…Dobson now has 45 points; no Islander defenseman has had 50 points since 2008-09 when Mark Streit had 56…The Rangers saw their shutout streak stopped at 200:43 with Nelson's first goal…Artemi Panarin had four assists to set a Ranger record for assists in a season by a Ranger forward (74); Panarin is the first Ranger with four helpers against the Isles since Jaromir Jagr (3-29-2006 at the Coliseum)…Adam Fox celebrated his 200th NHL game with three assists…Both Andrew Copp and Ryan Strome reached 20 goals for the first time in their careers; Copp also recorded his 200th point.

Battling the Big Boys
The Isles have faced three consecutive opponents who already had at least 100 points – it's only the third time that has ever happened; the Isles hosted opponents who already had at least 100 points in consecutive games for the first time in club history.  If Washington reaches 100 points before facing the Isles on April 28th the Isles will play their final five games against opponents with at least 100 points (which would be only the second time in NHL history that has happened – Montreal did this in 1971-72).

Isles Team Leaders
Goals:  Nelson 36, Lee 26, Pageau 16
Assists: Barzal 39, Dobson 33, Bailey 27
Points:  Nelson 58, Barzal 53, Dobson 45

Nelson will lead the Isles in goals for the third straight season, after Lee did so in the prior three seasons.
Barzal is looking to lead the team in assists for the fourth time in five seasons (Nick Leddy did so last year)
Nelson is looking to end Barzal's 4-year run as the club point leader; Mike Bossy is the only Islander to lead the team in scoring in at least five straight seasons.

On the Farm
Bridgeport is 9-4-2-0 in their last fifteen games and 30-29-7-4 on the season heading into the final weekend of the regular season.

Chris Terry continues to lead the team with 29 goals and 57 points while Otto Koivula has a team-leading 35 helpers. Jakub Skurek is 16-14-4 in goal on the season while Cory Schneider, 9-2-2 in his last thirteen games, is 13-11-3.

Bridgeport is .014 ahead of Hartford for the final playoff spot.  (AHL teams play different number of games, so percentage will determine the final standings).  Bridgeport has two regular season games to play (Friday vs. Springfield and Saturday vs. Hartford) while the Wolf Pack have three.

The Baby Isles could clinch a playoff spot on Friday if they beat Springfield, Hartford loses at home to Charlotte in regulation time and Lehigh Valley doesn't beat Hershey.

Season Series Stats
The teams split the season series, 2 games to 2 (and 4 points to 4).

The road team won all four games in the season series; the Isles have won 8 of 12 from the Rangers over the last two seasons but are only 3-3-0 at home.
