#ItHappenedAtTheColiseum

Update: We've now sold over 1,450 shirts and raised over $20,000! Un-beLIevable!

Since October, I have been commemorating the last season of Islander hockey at the Coliseum with my daily #ItHappenedattheColiseum feature. Recently, I was approached by @Islesblog to participate in a project for charity based on the "It Happened" theme.
The result is these gorgeous T-shirts and hoodies:
and now they can be yours.

Please visit http://teespring.com/IslesBlogIHATC to order. Check out http://nyislesblog.com/articles/it-happened-at-the-coliseum-shirts-now-available for more on the campaign.
All proceeds benefit one of my favorite charities: Make-A-Wish® Metro New York.

Drop to 14th

With their loss to NJ, the Isles technically drop to 14th in the East. They
have the same record as Florida (29-36-12) and both teams have 25 non-shootout
wins. However, Florida earned 5 points in the season series with the Isles
while the Isles earned 4 so the Panthers are technically ahead.

The Isles would reach 80 points if they win their last five games. However,
they would have fewer non-shootout wins than any of the three teams that current
have 80 points. The Isles can currently finish anywhere from 23rd to 29th
place.
