The Not Great 8 -- 8 leads of 2+ the Isles didn't hold

October 27th - led @ Pittsburgh 2-0; lost 3-2 in SO
November 10th- led @ Colorado 3-0; lost 4-3 in OT
November 23rd - led Philadelphia 3-1; lost 4-3 in OT
December 10th - led Pittsburgh 2-0; lost 6-3
January 24th- led Toronto 2-0; lost 4-3 in OT (after Parenteau goal tied game in final minute)
February 4th-  led Buffalo 3-1; lost 4-3 in SO
February 28th- led @ Washington 2-0; lost 3-2 in OT
March 13th- led Washington 4-1; lost 5-4 in SO

So, eight games in which the Isles could have earned 16 points had they protected a multi goal lead; instead they earned only 7.
These are 7 of the 11 games that the Isles have lost in OT/SO this season.

The others:
October 29th - led San Jose 2-1; lost 3-2 in OT after phantom penalty on Hamonic
December 2nd led early at Chicago -- Nino Niederreiter's goal forces OT/SO.
December 8th - trailed Chicago 2-0; lost 3-2 in OT
March 11th - led @Rangers 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2, but lost 4-3 in OT

In total, the Islanders have had the lead in 10 of the 11 games that they have lost in OT/SO this season.

Dec. 10 game vs. PIT was at home.

Also note, as per my upcoming column, Isles have blown four multi-goal leads at home wearing black, four (1 home, 3 road) in white. None in bloue
