What's former Islander owner Steven Gluckstern up to now?

He's trying to solve the mortgage crisis in California.

Gluckstern, who once showed up in the Coliseum press box wearing a rain slicker (end of the "fisherman era(or error)") is a brilliant businessman who at one point earlier in his career invented an entire classification of reinsurance (which is what insures insurance companies).

Forever1940 is the nom de plume of Eric Hornick, statistician on Islander home telecasts since January 21, 1982. Visit my blog: NYISkinny.com and follow me on Twitter @ehornick
