Central Scouting names top players; draft lottery set for April 15th

The youngest of the Reinhart brothers, Sam, is the #3 North American skater in the final NHL Central Scouting draft ratings.  (Sam Bennett is #1, Aaron Ekblad is #2).

The #1 North American goalie is Boston College's Thatcher Demko (who is a true freshman); Demko faces Union on Thursday in Philly at the Frozen Four.

Among Europeans, the top 2 are sons of former NHL players: Kasperi Kapanen (Sami's son) and William Nylander (Michael's son).

The 2014 NHL Draft Lottery will take place on Tuesday, April 15, at 8:00 p.m. ET on TSN in Canada and NBCSN in the United States.

Unless the Isles finish 3-0-1 or 4-0-0 they will have either the 4th or 5th seed going into the lottery-- because of tie-breakers the only teams besides Calgary that the Isles can finish ahead of are Ottawa, Carolina and Winnipeg.  They are already guaranteed to finish ahead of Edmonton, Florida, and Buffalo.
