Boston 5, Isles 3
Joonas Kemppainen scored his first NHL goal late in the second period and David Pastrnak scored 2:03 later as the Boston Bruins erased a 2-1 deficit and rallied for a 5-3 win over the Islanders before a crowd of 13,113 at Barclays Center.  The loss breaks the Islanders 4-game win streak and is their first in their new home.

The Skinny
Brett Connolly's goal ended a 100:31 Islander shutout streak…John Tavares extended his point streak to five games...David Krejci's empty net goal gives him a point in all seven Bruin games… Thomas Hickey's late goal gives him a tally in consecutive games; the Isles have scored at least one third period goal in every game this season…Travis Hamonic, who was +3 on Tuesday, was -4 in this game…The Bruins improve to 147-9-12 since the start of the 2010-11 season when leading after 2…The Isles' penalty killers are 13-13 over the last four games…Josh Bailey's PP goal leaves him 2nd on the team in goals, behind Tavares' 4.  Bailey now has a power play goal, an even strength goal, and an empty net goal this season.

Milestone Men:
Johnny Boychuk played in his 400th NHL game. He made his NHL debut on January 5, 2008 for Colorado (in Denver), against the Islanders.
Former Islander Zdeno Chara played his 1,200th NHL game. He made his NHL debut on 11/19/1997 for the Isles at Detroit. Chara played the first  231 NHL games of his career for the Isles (6-23-29).
