Doornbosch poised to make Isles/NHL debut

Jamie Doornbosch is taking the pre-game skate with the Isles. It appears that
he will be the 35th skater to suit up for the Isles this season.

It's actually around an average number for the team since the lockout:

Skaters (does not include goalies):
2005-06 37
2006-07 33
2007-08 37
2008-09 39
2009-10 33
2010-11 35

If Hillen can't play tomorrow either, they will in all likelihood need a 36th to
finish the season.

Doonbosch just finished playing for the Kitchener Rangers, where he was a
teammate of Gabriel Landeskog. Landeskog is considered one of the toop
prospects for this year's entry draft. For the Isles to get their hands on him,
they will need some luck with the ping pong balls on Tuesday.

Doornbosch had 19 goals and 29 assists for Kitchener this season. His 19 goal
ranked him tied-3rd among OHL defensemen; his 48 points tied him for 7th among
defensemen with Isles prospect Calvin deHaan.
