Billy Jaffe

Happy to share the word that Billy Jaffe has been nominated for a New York Emmy for his rookie season work on Islander telecasts. (The nomination period is September 1 - August 31)

The nominees are:

ON-CAMERA TALENT: Sports Analyst
Billy Jaffe. October 1, 2006. (FSN New York). Composite.
Joe Micheletti. October 1, 2006. (MSG Network). Composite.
Mark Jackson. November 1, 2006. (YES Network). Composite.
Ron Darling. April 20, 2007. (SportsNet New York). Composite.

The 51st Annual New York Emmy® Awards will be presented at a special black tie gala on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at The Marriott Marquis ~ Times Square. (Ironically that's the last night of the NHL season).

I'm honored that I've worked directly with half the nominees in this category!

Congratulations Billy!
