If Kirill wants to play Canadian Jr., he apparently now has a home.

Bill Beacon of the Canadian Press is reporting that Kabanov has been traded to Shawinigan in a 5-player trade.

Subject: Where's Kirill?

Kirill Kabanov, that is.

His junior rights are now owned by the Armada Blainville-Broissard (Blainville is a suburb of Montreal) but he never played for them.

Apparently he has now moved on Sweden to pay for Farjestad BK, as per Katie's story here:

However, EliteProspects.com says that he might not be there for long -- he is only on a tryout basis until November 6th.  The original Swedish story is here:   http://hockeysverige.se/article/12432115/en-chansning   Translated, it appears he has until the "November recess" to prove he belongs.
