TRIVIA TIME

Have you been keeping up (or perhaps even winning) my weekly trivia questions?  The questions are asked by the Isles simultaneously on the team Facebook page and on Twitter (using the hashtag #islesTNT)   The team usually has a great prize for the winner --this past week's winners found themselves watching the first of John Tavares' back-to-back four point games!

If you have missed any recent questions, here they are.  (The answers are below my signature.)  Good luck!

Q1 The first Islander defenseman to be named to the NHL's All Rookie team celebrates a birthday today (August 30).  Who is he?

Q2 Who are the 3 Isles coaches prior to Jack Capuano to take over the team during the season & coach the opener the following year?

Q3 We know Nino is youngest to score a goal for the Islanders.  Who is the oldest player to score an Islander goal?

Q4 Besides Mark Streit, who are the 3 defensemen  to captain the Islanders?

Q5 In honor of Saturday's home opener, who are the 3 Isles goalies to record a shutout in the home opener?
