Time for Nino to Come Home

Nino Niederreiter scored for the third straight game, this time on a penalty shot, as Bridgeport beat Hershey 4-3 tonight, their 1st win in Chocolate City since 2007.

Nino finishes his six-game stint with the Sound Tigers with 3-1-4 and a +4 rating.  He is expected to be in the Islander lineup on Tuesday when they host the Rangers.

Anders Nilsson was the winning netminder; the rookie is turning some heads and is now 5-2-0 on the season.  David Ullstrom recorded the winning goal; he now leads the team with 10 goals.  Only 1 player in the AHL (Carter Ashton) has more.
