Tavares/Moulson

Following up on my trivia question, Moulson/Tavares are the first Isles teammates to have recorded THREE consecutive multi-point games at the same time since February 10-12-13, 2000 when Jorgen Jonsson and Mariusz Czerkawski did it.
Before that, you have to go back to March 27-April 2, 1997 when Bryan Smolinski and Robert Reichel did so.
Benoit Hogue and Ray Ferraro also had a three-game streak from March 8-12, 1992.

The last time the Isles had two players record FOUR consecutive multi-point games at the same time was February 15-17-20-22, 1992 when Pierre Turgeon and Steve Thomas did so.
Forever1940 is the nom de plume of Eric Hornick, statistician on Islander home telecasts since 1982. Visit my blog: NYISkinny.com and follow me on Twitter @ehornick
