A few more notes

Tonight's win was the 203rd January win in Islander history. The Isles have won more games in January than any other month, breaking a tie with March (202)

The Isles are 3-2-3 this January with six games to play. The Isles have posted more wins than regulation losses in each month this season. The last time the Isles had a winning record in the season's first four months was in 1985-86. (Of course in that year, all losses were losses.)

The Isles have earned 236 points in games against the Devil franchise -- more than against any other opponent.

Over the last 2 1/2 seasons, the Isles have earned 28 points vs the Devils --more than any other opponent. They've earned 24 vs the Rangers, 22 vs the Penguins and 16 vs the Flyers in that timeframe. The Isles have earned 17 points agsint Boston and Washington -- most against any non-divisional foe.
