NY POST: Lafontaine part of group interested in Isles?

On this First Monday in October, we have a little Isles gossip -- since we have no games:

<<Pat LaFontaine has been contacted by some European investors about
the possibility of buying the money-losing team and keeping it on Long
Island, The Post has learned.

LaFontaine, who starred for the
Islanders for eight seasons and is in the top six in goals and points in team history, is intrigued by the opportunity and may look to put
together some sort of bid, sources said.>>

The story also talked about Ed Blumenfeld's involvement with Bob Nystrom and Denis Potvin as he looks to get the development rights.

Finally, @EdMangano answered a tweet from @7thWoman  (Dee Karl) regarding the timing of awarding a master builder with " Soon Dee, very soon." It's the second time this week that he has tweeted similar phrasing; there's no other recent talk about the Isles on his twitter feed.

There are 123 games remaining in the Coliseum lease, of which 5 were scheduled to be played this month.
